Though I don't encourage the use of performance enhancing drugs and would never take them myself it is there bodies. The sport of cycling has been tainted for some time now. Even before the days of Festina and Pantani. Anyone involved in the game wether it be through team sponsors to team mechanics know that it exists. Those that truely and honestly don't take performance enhancers should feel proud of the fact that there still able to compete at the highest level of the sport against all the masses that do. If they don't like it then they have options. With all the documented cases of doping and more new ones each day its a safe bet to say that at the very least its a 95% level playing field. Which is better odds then you'll get on anyother professional stage. Its a sad state of affairs and the more technicalogically advanced we become as a society there will always be some new way to beat the system and those who are willing to test there luck for a taste of the glory. I personally just watch the grand tours anymore to enjoy the scenary and daydream of what it would be like to expierience taking on monsterous climbs such as the Col de Gallibier. I'll come down off my soapbox now dude but thats just my two cents. Oh and the pictures from Florida were great it looks like you had a great time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7889584818027398796.post-30797646153629325442007-08-16T09:31:00.000-07:002007-08-16T09:31:00.000-07:00Shane, thanks for your comment.
